The road book is in preparation. It will be in two sections, a "pre-departure" section covering tips on choosing and preparing a car, visas, insurance, mobile phones etc. and an "on the road" section describing the routes and tips on ferries, places to stay, desert driving, fuel and first aid etc. etc. It is not prescriptive it, doesn't provide turn by turn directions etc the actual route you take and where you stay is your choice.  The road book will be available on this site for participants only to view, comment on and download.
